He is also known as Mr. Capalot as well as Polo Capalot. The ace Chicago Illinois rapper gained attention when he started uploading tracks on YouTube. In the beginning, he released songs like the Come Up and NEVER CARED. Then, he released his SoundCloud debut in the form of a Mixtape "OFFICIAL POLO.G SUNDCLOUD". Gang With Me was his first single to chart, and was followed by The Finer Things. He wrote the latter while in jail. It was the single that made him famous and gained millions of views on YouTube bringing him into the spotlight. Then, record labels began showing an interest in his work. Pop Out feat. Lil Tjay was released by the rapper when he signed an agreement to release his music through Columbia Records. The track was watched millions of views on YouTube, and it reached the 22nd spot on the Billboard Hot 100. This is the first time the rapper has charted a song.
